Haunts
This video is from an investigation I assisted with for the television program Ghost Adventures which airs on The Travel Channel. The video is from the Linda Vista Hospital in Los Angeles, CA.

Residual Haunt may have made a daytime appearence
This was a strange occurrence which happened a couple of years ago while on duty at work. While monitoring police calls in the office our secretary at the time said there was a call at Clinton avenue at the train crossing East of Maroa avenue in Fresno. Two separate callers reported seeing a pedestrian get struck by a train at this location. The calls came in nearly simultaneously from different callers. Units rolled code 3 to the scene to find…… nothing. Two callers see a person get hit by a train, in broad daylight, at the same time, and when units get there they find nothing?  What happened?  Anyone who knows Fresno knows it is notorious for people getting hit by trains. This being one of those crossings in which it has happened before. In thinking about all this I wonder if there is some sort of residual haunting. And periodically when the conditions are right, and a train rolls through that makes a certain sound or blows the horn in a way it acts as a trigger for this residual activity to run it’s coarse. It just so happened it had witnesses this time.
Phone call from the otherside leaves my friend wondering
A close and personal friend of mine revealed to me for the first time an occurrence which happened to him a few years ago which made him wonder about the after life.  Ken and I go way back, close to 20 years.  He owns a small yet successful  business in Fresno  In about 2001, not totally sure of the date, Ken lost his daughter suddenly  who was in college at the time.  Prior to his daughter passing, at his business he had two telephone lines installed.  One a regular business phone and the second line was for family and personal calls.  One night about a month after his daughter had passed, Ken told me he was working in his shop about 11p.m. something he doesn’t normally do.  While engaged in his work, he said the personal telephone line rang.  He picked up the receiver and said “hello?”.  At this time he said he heard a voice he will never forget.  It was his daughter who had passed away.  With static in the line he heard “Hi Dad!”.  Ken said he recognized the voice immediately and  tried to establish a better connection.  Then silence.  He repeated “hello, hello” several times before finally hanging up.  He has not heard from her since.  Ken believes it was his daughter returning to let him know that she was okay and not to worry.  Ken told me his son who sees his sister in his dreams on occasionally and is getting messages from her too, telling him all is okay where she is.  Ken also told me he has considered disconnecting his phone because he rarely uses it, but then thinks what if she calls back.  The phone line remains..… with an answering machine too.
